Founded to advance excellence and access in higher education, the International Association of Vedic Hindu Universities brings together leading institutions across regions and disciplines. We facilitate collaboration in research and teaching, develop shared standards, and amplify the sector’s voice on global policy.

Our work focuses on mobility and exchange, open science and data, digital transformation, inclusion and equity, and university governance. Members benefit from joint programs, research consortia, benchmarking, and capacity-building opportunities.

Governed by a council of university leaders and advised by expert committees, we operate as a non-profit, non-partisan organization funded by member contributions and grants.

Dr. Chakradhar Frend 'VedNipun'

A pioneering researcher bridging ancient wisdom and modern science, he holds an extensive academic portfolio featuring dual graduations in Microbiology (B.Sc.) and Law (LL.B.), dual post-graduations in M.Sc. Microbiology and M.Sc. Vedic Sciences, and a Ph.D. & DVSc in Vedic Microbiology. He also completed the prestigious 'VedaNipuna' (वेदनिपुण) course from the Maharishi Sandipani Rashtriya VedaVidya Pratishthan (Ministry of Education, Govt. of India).

BrahmaVidya Kriya Yoga : Initiated into the sacred science of BrahmaVidya KriyaYoga under the revered guidance of YogaManasvi Sri Padmakant Thakur 'Bhagawan' (Shyamacharan Sangh, Patna), he currently heads the Shyamacharan Sangh in Surat, Gujarat, dedicating his life to preserving and modernizing traditional spiritual systems of Kriya Yoga & Vedic wisdom.

Pioneer Research Papers : He authored the world's first groundbreaking research papers in Vedic Microbiology, both published online by the Vedic Heritage Portal (IGNCA, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India): 1. "VEDIC MICROBIOLOGY: Microbiology in the Veda - A Revived History" (Presented at the 1st World Congress on Vedic Sciences, Bangalore, 2004) & 2. "VEDIC MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY & EMERGING INFECTIOUS DISEASES" (Presented at the 2nd World Congress on Vedic Sciences, Varanasi, 2007).

As a SodhSarthi-Guru / Guide, he provided doctoral research guidance to 12 Ph.D. scholars.

Convener and Organizer of International Conferences : He has served as the convener and organizer for several high-impact international forums, including the International Seminar on Vedic Microbiology (New Delhi, 2007), YogAyur Summit (Patna, Bihar 2008), the International Conferences on Veda-Tantra-Mantra-Yantra & Tantric Sciences (Surat, Gujarat 2018), and the first & second World Vedic Conferences (2023 & 2025 in Surat, Gujarat).
